Both of us came from a background of travel. We met on an online dating app, and realized we shared a sense of adventure. After 4 years of dating, we decided to become location independent and travel the world together. Home is now wherever we happen to be.
We are embracing slow travel– choosing an area to explore and really getting to know the local life. Particularly, we love living in Southeast Asia, Sri Lanka, and Central/South America. The cost of living in these areas makes this lifestyle affordable– and we hope to continue this nomadic life for many years to come.
We have been to over 65 countries, 6 continents, and seen all 7 Wonders of the World. Aside from travel, we have many things in common including: hiking, all water activities, eating street food, and watching reality television.
We finally decided to start a blog because so many of our friends and family members have asked us for tips about where to go and what to do on vacation. We have helped a lot of people with trip planning itineraries and would like to help you too!
Since mangoes are our favorite fruit, “The Nomadic Mango” blog was born. It was as good of a name as any– and easy to spell. Follow us along our nomadic path as we travel the world.
